I just discovered Nip Tuck….
Dec 23rd
Yes people, as sad as it is, I just discovered Nip Tuck. I immediately wanted to see the show after listening to the theme song remix, done by Gabriel & Dresden. Here’s a description of the song as taken from Amazon.com:-
…….. conjur up a nigh-seamless soundscape of haunting textures and percolating beats here, forcefully pushing the envelope of what a smart song-score can be in the bargain. Their rhythmic reinvention of The Engine Room’s theme for the show, “A Perfect Lie,” sets the cynical, haunting tone, with Gabriel and Dresden employing a sensibility that’s both more mature and austere than their typical club work……….
Typical or untypical, their work in mixing the entire album really shines. In my opinion, its collection of down-tempo beats and trip hop makes this a must have to anyone’s collection of music.
- The Engine Room – Perfect Lie (G&D Remix)
- Poloroid – So Damn Beautiful (Original Mix)
- Wax Poetic featuring Norah Jones – Angels

- Chris Coco – Falling
- Erin McKeown – Cosmopolitans (Tri-Factor Remix)

-icles 1-2-3. The real first post. Apparently finding a theme for WordPress is harder than I thought. For now I’ll have to settle with veryplaintext by Scott. I’d like something slightly more fancy, but this blog being in its infancy, plus the lack of artistic skills unlike my friend alan prevent me from doing anything about it for the time being.
